Alt forms of transit are very chic in the US right now. Check out this car-sharing idea from the capital of chic — Paris, France. The Autolib provides Parisians with electric cars, called “Bluecars”, which they can share as needed. Parisians take design seriously. These cars were designed by the Italian firm that makes Ferraris. The unpainted aluminum exterior is similar to the look of Vélib, the companion bike share program in Paris, which also features an aluminum finish. The Bluecars come equipped with GPS and big blue button you can push in case you get in a wreck.
