Christmas pudding, or trash bags?

Per Wikipedia, this is Christmas pudding: Christmas pudding is a pudding traditionally served on Christmas Day (December 25). It has its origins in medieval England, and is sometimes known as plum pudding or plum duff,[1][2] though this can also refer to other kinds of boiled pudding involving dried fruit.

Since this tradition didn’t seem to span the ocean and land over here in the US with the emigration of Brits, we weren’t sure what Christmas pudding was. But after learning of it’s traditional role in the UK, we enjoyed the notion of making taking out the trash after the holidays into a fun game of dropping off some pudding at the curb. It’s also fun to make the streets a little more decadent for passers by and trash collectors.

Found them at SUCK UK, and they’re apparently done by W+K London.

New way to advertise in cups

Grin On Industries in Montesano, WA, are promoting their Bottoms Up Beer technology as an advertising opportunity in a YouTube fueled campaign. The Bottoms Up Draft Beer Dispenser  fills plastic glasses from the bottom up, with branded magnets at the bottom of each glass sealing off the drink. The “MAG®” is promoted on the In The Drink Advertising site as one of the easiest ways to reach a target market that is 21+ years old, in a good mood and has disposable income.

If animals could really talk.

BBC show Walk on the Wild Side combines natural history footage with comedic voiceovers from British comedians Jason Manford and Isy Suttie with celebrity appearances. These are a few of the previews/ads for the show, which seem like there’s some pretty comical bits in there.

There’s a dog below my desk right now that would most likely be telling me it ate beans for lunch if it could talk.

holy coin animation

Insert coin, receive pleasurable animation. This video is a really neat-o stop motion piece that uses primarily coins to create graphics. It was done by Kreativ Dreamhack. There are some quite impressive 3D graphics parts that make me think these guys must have spent quite a bit of time on this. The best part is there is a how-to at the end to explain how it was all done.

Yes, it's made with lightning

Ok, so we’ve been trying to keep the posts in the vein of the impending holidays. But I just couldn’t resist this one. It’s been told (by the end card of the video) that this is a real product. So I’m only led to then believe that if I drink this I will actually have 400 babies that will run faster than kenyans. Everything you see on youtube is real, right?

It’s still a hard pill to swallow that this is actually a real advertisement. There was, however,  real laughter watching it.

Continuing the holiday theme..

…how about a DIY ornament of the Adidas variety? It’s pretty darned cool and you can download it here.

This just in…

This just in, Sukle loves to decorate his house. See, he goes a little overboard, doesn’t he? At least we can say for certain the guy has spirit.

Just another way to consume bacon

Plop some effervescent tablets into your glass of water, and FIZZ! Then bacon. Yep, you read that right, it fizzes in the flavor of bacon. Buy your loved ones these for the holidays at thinkgeek.com.

Bacon on Bacon

Firstly, Sukleites love bacon. The food, obviously. Secondly, we love when actors can poke fun at themselves, like when Kevin Bacon acts like his own biggest fan. This is a spot for Logitech.
