New Stuff and Inspiration
You need distractions. Cheetos gives you that. And orange fingers.
We know you all need distractions, and Cheetos has so thoughtfully provided you with said attention diverting with their App of Massive Distraction. While we always enjoy being purveyors non-productivity, we must confess we’re really also showing love for our pal Zac Spector. We loved working with him here and are glad to see he’s working JUST as hard out at Goodby (we call this the ‘too many cheetos’ nap):
Can the internet create a new sport?
It created planking, which is obviously not REALLY a sport. But it seems like every time you open up your email browser you get an link to some new thing someone’s created, and suddenly BAM, a new internet meme (and occasionally sport) is born.
Lets see if urban skiing takes off. This video was certainly shot nicely, but maybe it was just some skiing film makers jonesing for some turns and these were the best ones available? Either way, be on the lookout for urban skiiers.
Jelly Bean animation
We are always on the prowl, looking for new ideas and executions that are visually stunning. This is something we’ve not seen yet: a music video made in stop motion, with all jelly beans. It took 288,000 jelly beans, over 22 months, 1,357 hours, 30 people, 2 ladders and one still camera. Impressive.
