Client: The Wyoming Department of Health Campaign: Thank A Vaccine

Close

Ever wondered why all the pioneers had long beards?
Now you’ll know.

Wyoming was already one of the least vaccinated states in the country. Then the controversy generated by Covid-19 had a devastating effect on the vaccination rates across adult and childhood diseases. The Wyoming Department of Health hired us to change that.

Once you get past all the noise and misinformation, the reality is vaccines are the greatest achievement in the history of public health. They’ve eradicated or nearly eliminated a horrendous list of diseases. They’ve saved millions of lives and doubled our lifespan. In fact, vaccines are so effective we take them for granted. This campaign shines a light on that.

The effort launched with a :60 second film shown in movie theaters and on connected TV. In addition, the integrated campaign will build across digital, social, radio and print to address a range of diseases and the vaccines that have conquered them.

The people of Wyoming have a genuine sense of gratitude for the life they get to enjoy. And rightfully so. Their gratitude is shaped by a reverence for those who came before them, the beauty of the magnificent landscape and their appreciation for the rural lifestyle.

This campaign has made an impact. Vaccination rates for proven vaccines are up year over year, 19% for adults and 2.5% for children.
