Client: The Wyoming Department of Health Campaign: The Fluet


It’s not a duet,
it’s a fluet.

Misinformation and controversy swirling around the Covid-19 vaccine was decreasing adult and childhood vaccination rates across many diseases. The threat was especially great for the seasonal flu shot. The Wyoming Department of Health wanted to change that.

Our strategy was to shift the attention off of the vaccine and focus instead on where it belongs – just how miserable the flu can be. But it had to be done in a non-threatening, non-judgmental way.

Introducing the Fluet. The first flu commercial that made you want to sing along.

After the campaign, the CDC reported that Wyoming flu vaccinations not only held steady but increased 5.1% for children and 4.5% for adults year-over-year. Demonstrating that a catchy tune can be good medicine.
