New Stuff and Inspiration

Announcing new packaging design for Gates Rubber. Belts never looked so good.

Gates, a Thompkins Company, has been working with us to redo their packaging for their belts. No, not the belts you’re thinking of- you wont see these bad boys in SoHo unless you pop the hood of some massive truck. They’re used in big power transmissions and manufacturing plants assembly lines, mostly. Our goal was to take a somewhat mundane product, and to really sexy it up. We think we’ve made this thing sing, and we know there’s a lot of guys, showing crack, working at a large motor repair shops around the world that are happy to lay their greasy fingers on this slick box. A real pic coming soon, we promise.

Sukle in One Show Magazine: agencies to watch in smaller markets.

Sukle rocking it in the One Show mag.

In an article about agencies “off the beaten path”, Sukle was one of the few agencies named for the Denver area. Needless to say, nice to see some spotlight shed on D-town.

2007 D&AD Black Pencil Winning OOH/Illustration

Adrants points out this powerful campaign from Kolle Rebbe Werbeagentur that won a Black Pencil in the Illustration: Press Advertising category at the 2007 D&AD Global Awards. According to AdCritic, only two Black Pencils can be won per year, and it’s rare that an Illustration entry makes the cut.

interesting music video

Found this one a week or so ago. Thought it was quite interesting and worth sharing. Enjoy.

hi. welcome to our blog.

Yep! That’s right. We decided it was time to jump into the Web2.0 pool and share stuff with the rest of the world.

Please be patient with us as we get this going. We hope that this becomes a forum for us to share our thoughts, work, things we think are cool and interesting going on around the globe and probably a few random things that show you what it’s like to work inside the walls of our office.

The name? Well, it’s hard to explain really. It’s part inside joke, part random word pairing… you know what, maybe just ask Celeste, Andy or KC. They all had a part in it. Mostly it made us all laugh and that’s something we like to do often.

Thanks for stopping by and if you have any suggestions or thoughts, feel free to share them in the comments section.
